Q & A Tuesday – Week 13
A weekly thread meant for discussion about anything and everything related to the FUT market. Pose your questions about player prices, investing and trading strategies, or upcoming events. I will answer questions as quickly as I can, but if you can respond before I do, feel free to hop in the conversation!
Also, follow my on Twitter if you don’t already!
Would you recommend opening pakages today, it seems more likely to get good players because of TOTW and POTGS or would you wait for the new TOTW ?
I’d open packs today. Even if TOTW 13 is solid, there still won’t be nearly the firepower that TOTGS has.
Do you think there is a bigger crash coming? Like what we see with TOTGS, or is it gonna rise now with FUTmas
High rated players and cheap informs will rise with FUTMAS SBCs over the next couple weeks. After that, there should be a decline in the market leading up to TOTY in January with a “bigger crash” happening around then.
Not a question but i think opening bronze packs are good for storing bronze players who might be used for sbcโs in future. Your suggestions?
Yes, bronze pack method is a great way to get players in your club for cheap. If they can’t be used for SBCs, you can always use them to do the Bronze upgrade SBC to get some silvers. You really can’t lose with the strategy.
Keep in mind that you should be listing up other consumables/items you are getting in the process to maximize your profit. I haven’t written any BPM guides myself, but if you google it there are a lot of people who have.
I mean like if you have spare coins you can always open bronze packs and you will get some players who at some point in time might become very high value because of random MM like the middlesborough and ipswich one
Do you think that there will be a requirement for a Special Card for the Salah POTM SBC ?I have his hero card and wonder if I should sell now in the hype or hold on to it ?
So far this year, EA have tended to have SBCs requirements that avoided requiring one specific player. That is not to say that they won’t change it up for Salah, though. If I was a betting man, I’d say that they won’t require a special Salah card for the SBC; there is too limited of a supply of them on the market.
Yes I agree, the Mane card was specific but the others have not.
When would be the best time to sell my If ANDRE?
I’m waiting until later into the FUTMAS event. As people do the daily player SBCs, his supply will decrease, and a subsequent increase in price will happen as time goes on. I’ll most likely be selling on the 23rd, 24th or 25th.
Got 16 Andreโs for 10.5k-12.5k. Should I buy some more and do you think I will profit? Sitting @ 475k and I really wanna be at 1 mil soon ๐๐๐ฝ
Personally, I went all in on him – I have around 250. I don’t see any better investment than him at the moment to be honest.
Last week with MM having Middlesbrough, the price for Braithwaite hit 10k at some point on Wednesday and stayed there for most of the week. Any particular reason why this one peaked slightly later that normal and stayed fairly consistent?
I am curious because I invested a lot in the Anderlecht MM and initially I was seeing really big returns and now nothing is selling. Will the prices increase due to players being bought and used in SBC’s making them rarer? Last week I couldn’t work out what happened with the Championship MM, the prices just rocketed up for a reason that is escaping me.
In the case of Marquee Matchups that people don’t expect, prices of those players tend to rise more than expected MM. It’s rare that they rise as much as Middlebrough/Ipswich, though; there might have been some price fixing going on there. In general, prices will always be the most expensive in the hour following the announcement.
So the 81 IFs that u said to invest in such as andre have gone up to about 18k lowest bin. Should I hold them or sell now? Will they go up more during FUTmas?
I’m holding. They will likely continue to get discarded with FUTMAS SBCs and this Salah POTM, decreasing their supply and thus increasing their price.
