Reasoning for Investment: MOTM cards are often an overlooked investment. They are typically released on Fridays/Saturdays and are overshadowed by other promo cards which are better statistically.

MOTM cards are unique in that they discard for ~ 15k, much higher than most other cards. Most of them settle at that price on the market. Sometimes, like in the case of Werner, buying them at discard is good bet as they have dual usability (Werner was a cheap 86 that could be used for SBCs, and had a decent amount of games played and could be used in game).

One of the nicest things about buying these discard players is that they are easy to offload. It can be a pain listing tens or hundreds of players, but quick selling and getting the coins instantly in a single click is quite convenient.
