My Fantasy FIFA posts every Sunday are meant as suggestions for the week for investing. For future reference, use that as a weekly guide.
If you want a quick gamble, you could by some players that might be released in the Marquee Matchups at 6PM UK time.
Otherwise, look to buy some OTW players following Champions League matches today/tomorrow if they don’t have a good game. People will panic sell and their prices will bounce back for their weekend fixtures.

I just invested in OTW for the first time (400k budget) with 4 OTW Kessies for 30k right after his game on Saturday. How high could I expect his price to climb before his game this weekend/When should I sell?

He should rise to somewhere between 35-40k. They play on Sunday at 14:00 UK time against Genoa, so I’d sell right after they release the starting lineups.

When is the best time for me to sell all of my Ajax investments (filled my transfer list with 400-600 gold players), now that it has come out that they are on the Marquee Matchups?

With any new SBCs, usually the earlier the better. Try to offload them over the next couple hours.

Hi Chief! What do you think about the team fitness? Im sitting on like 100 of them waiting to rise.. Starts to annoying me cuz my cash flow slower without that money. Gonna be worth it in the long run?

Yeah I know what you mean. I have over 1000 right now. I thought they were going to go up sooner, but I guess its taken a bit longer. I think I might start selling them off, because I think I can do more with the coins investing week in and week out than having them sit there into November. I’d suggest you do the same.
Im guessing its because the amount of sbc and reward packs available for all the players. I’ll cash out on the weekend regardless
I think people just have a lot in their clubs still from the start of FIFA. I wish I took better note of what squad fitness prices were at the beginning of last year; it might take until later in the year before the get into the 1200-1500 range.
Put a bunch of them up and span them out from 700-1100. They will sell atleast 4-6 every time you list it you list about 30

There is a lot of speculation over whether EA will release TOTY cards this early in the game or wait until their usual release date of January. If you are nervous I would sell him, along with your other expensive players, this Friday. The awards are on Monday the 23rd, and they would release the TOTY players shortly there after.
Personally, I don’t think we will see TOTY next week. I believe its too early in the game for such powerful cards, and I think EA would really take a financial hit in terms of pack openings going forward if they release their “cream of the crop” this soon. However, we’ve known EA to be unpredictable, so its really a guessing game.
I think so it´s too early too but I think could happen early this year beacuse this prize from 23 oct is from FIFA and the prize from jan/2018 it´s from france football. And so I read the fifa and france football were a partner and because of the president of FIFA they brooken a part , and how FIFA it´s too proud of him self I don´t think that the TOTY will we be based on france footbal awards.And FiFA with TOTY it seems to me a good reason for fifa(game) players pay a attencion in that prize and it a good form to promote FIFA self ( sorry for the bad english ) thaks for all
Sorry if this has already been posted but I’m trying to get my head around things. I just packed my first big player (an icon who I sold for 400k). I want to start trading my way up with solid investments. With TOWT players do their prices rise once they have been announced? For example Sterling this week – will his price rocket when his IF card is released at 6pm uk time? or will it devalue because people now want the IF one?
Good question, let me elaborate.
When a player gets their 1IF (first inform), it forces their base cards out of packs. Jesus and Sterling both earned a spot in TOTW5, so their gold cards will be unavailable in packs from now until next Wednesday. Because their supply is cut off, their price will naturally rise as a result.
Additionally, people realize that this is a viable investing strategy, so often you see expected TOTW players prices rise in anticipation. That is why you saw Icardi double in price following his brace against AC Milan.
This is why I inserted both Icardi and Jesus into this weeks Fantasy FIFA. I did have a feeling Icardi wouldn’t be that good of an investment, though, as his price was already quite inflated.
Now, what you are talking about when cards lose value when they get an inform is in the situation of new 2IF, 3IF, etc. cards. Today Kimmich got his 2IF card, and his 1IF dropped from 60k to 35k as a result. I explain this in a bit more depth on the High Risk Trading page.

Thanks mate – this makes complete sense so in theory if someone has an absolute belter saturday then try pick them up on the anticipation that they get in the TOTW. If they do then try sell them for profit around friday when Weekend league kicks in?
Actually, this FIFA the best time to sell has been Tuesday to beat the rush before sellers start mass listing them and driving their price down, especially with players that are considered a “shoe-in” for TOTW. Take a look at the FUTBIN graphs for Icardi from this week or Bakambu from a couple weeks ago as examples.
when do the halloween scream events launch, and what are those and are there any investing opportunities there?

OTW are a different story, they should rise a bit leading up to their weekend fixtures. I would hold and sell before the matches.

Scream shouldn’t effect their prices as they won’t be available in packs. Still hold until their weekend fixtures.
Got 2 OTW Tolisso’s for 98 and 95k, do you think those are good prices?

I had around 300k from sbc packs, and traded my way to 400k. However recently I bought Mane for 110k, then the 15k packs came as promo packs, and Mane crashed down to 95k. Also I bought OTW Bonucci for 137k, and now he is sitting at 105k. Also bought IF Yarmolenko for 130k, now he’s sitting at 105k, however this morning he was 120k. The promo packs screwed me up big time, this week, and if you could tell me when to sell them I would greatly appreciate it. Should I wait out this week, or should I sell them now and settle for what I get? Thanks 🙂
OTW Bonucci and Yarmolenko should rise leading up to their fixtures this weekend, so I’d look to sell them then.
Mane’s situation is a bit trickier. With WL rewards tonight and Scream promotions tomorrow, he will be packed quite a bit. You might want to offload him sooner than later.
Yarmolenko is the IF version, not the OTW though.
I see. He won’t be in packs, so that’s good news for you. However, his price might continue to fall as people offload their more expensive players in anticipation of a potential TOTY release next week. If you sell, I’d recommend doing it tonight or tomorrow. Otherwise, you can wait out the storm in hopes there won’t be a market crash.
Personally, I don’t think TOTY will be released. However, the fear of a market crash is all it takes for a market crash, so we might see prices across the board continue to decline as a result.

With the market crash possibly coming this weekend, would you recommend selling our expensive players and buying them back over the weekend?
Yeah, selling before Scream is released tomorrow might be a good idea. At least the players that will be in packs.
Hi Futchief, IF Immobile si sitting at 42k currently on pc, and he was 70k 2 days ago. Do you think I should buy some of them at a low price on Sunday and wait a couple of weeks for his price to go up? Do you think at this stage such an inform goes up after going out of packs?
IF pricing starts high on Wednesdays when they are released in packs. It decreases until it hits a low point on Sundays (usually). So yes, that would be a solid investment. Look to get him at a good price by BID/Snipe.
