Investing In Discard Gold Informs

No risk, discard investments are some of my favorite investments. They are great when it comes to Marquee Matchups, and they are equally excellent for Team of the Week cards.

Each week, I look to pick up some of these players during Weekend League rewards (Thursdays at 7PM UK time) and Squad Battle rewards (Mondays at 1AM UK time). Most often it is easier to get them for discard during SB rewards as TOTW prices tend to hit their cheapest later in the week.

As long as you are getting them for discard (or within a few hundred coins of discard) there is literally ZERO risk with these investments; you won’t win the lottery with them, but you also won’t go bankrupt.

Notice that all of these players are 81 or 82 rated. Team of the Week 7 features Dembele, Toloi, Grifo, Farfan and Marcal. Look to pick them up today or Sunday during rewards for close to discard, and watch them rise in the weeks that follow.
