Chief, when do you think is a good time to sell a OTW/PTG card? During the game, after the game, time when different predictions are announced or when the totw has been announced?
Well, you have to consider 2 different scenarios for this: when to sell if he performs well (has a goal or assist) and when to sell if he performs poorly (no goals or assists.
In the event that he doesn’t score or assist, you shouldn’t panic sell him immediately after the game like so many people do. Wait until his next match, and choose to either sell before or after the lineups are announced. Or, you can gamble in hopes that he scores and wait it out.
In the event that he does score, your best bet is to sell a few hours before the TOTW announcement on Wednesday. The trend for this year is OTW/PTG prices peak at that time, even when they are announced to be in the TOTW. This is because so many investors list in the hours following the announcement that there is mass undercutting and the players price falls as a result.
Futbin tracks hourly prices of players each day. Next time they announce TOTW, you can monitor how the players prices fluctuate.
I invested pretty heavily in Gold Squad Fitness (~150) and Hunter (~30) cards, under the assumption that they would be more expensive by now. Squad fitness I bought from 400 to 600 with the goal of selling for 1000+, and Hunter I bought around 3k with the plan to sell for 5k (max). Any thoughts on if/when they will reach those prices? I’m debating just selling them for what I can this week so that I can buy as much as possible when prices hopefully drop around black Friday.
If they do reach those prices, I don’t think it would be until January at the very earliest. It still baffles me at how they have remained so cheap up to this point. I would say selling what you have over these next couple days is a good idea; the coins can be better invested in other places on Black Friday.

ive invested in quite a few IF dempseys. when do you think the best time to sell is?
Not an investor but i think it would be best to sell him when the Totw sbc’s are out which require an if so i think his price should go up to around 22-25k. Or you could wait until the mls gets over and they announce the mls mvp sbc
I’m going to hold on to mine until early December before they release MLS MVP. Hype will only increase his price leading up to that event, and if they do have TOTW SBCs that require an IF that will only decrease his supply (and increase his price) as people offload them for the SBC.

EPL Players like Alli, If Fernandinho, IF Fellaini etc
If they can be opened in packs (like Alli), look to get them on Friday during lightning rounds as a mass supply will be hitting the market all at once.
If they can’t be opened in packs (like IF Fernandinho and IF Fellaini), monitor their price over the next few days. It’s not looking like there will be any huge crash right now, so just try and get them on a deal by either bid or BIN.
What player should I buy now? I mean what informs?
It’s not really a matter of informs you should ‘buy now’. It’s a matter of getting them on a good deal. That requires you monitor their prices and compare them with their graphs on FUTBIN. Nobody really knows how the market will act over the next 48 hours, so do some research on the informs you are targeting and use your best judgement when choosing to buy.
For example, the cheapest BIN Fellaini is sitting at 47k right now (on Xbox). That is the cheapest he has ever been. I would put some IF Fellaini’s that are on open bid (bids less than 47k) in my target list and see what people are buying him for. You might be able to get a good deal around 40-42k for him.
Okay, I choose investment in IF’s 81,82 like Olson, Ljajic because their prices are not high yet like other IF’s.

in regards to investing in MM for next week, would it be better to buy players today or on friday ?
I think there will be more opportunities to get good deals Friday. There will be a lot of players (especially lesser desired MM players) that will fall through the cracks with so many packs being opened.
