currently i have a premier league team in the false 9, with my midfield being bakayoko at cdm, pogba and de bruyne at cm. Should i sell pogba for kante ?
I currently use both Kante and Pogba in my squad. I like Pogba more personally because of his size.

When is lunar new year coming out?
Lunar New Year drops on Friday, February 16th. There will be massive pack promotions and the market should dip pretty hard.
Is the Leon Bailey good investment right now? Is the probability of his price rising high? When shall we sell Bailey if we decide to invest now?
Less than 70k is what I targeted him at. I think anything higher than that is a bit too risky. If you grabbed him, I’d hold for a couple weeks and sell in the upgrade hype.
I’m also looking forward to invest in Bailey, is 75k good price to buy? When will be a good moment to sell Bailey and why do you think his price will actually rise?
1. He is the best LW/LF/LM in Bundesliga.
2. He will be upgraded during Ratings Refresh in February.
3. TOTW investments have been quite profitable as of late (see how TOTW 17/18 players have risen over the past couple weeks).
I think 75k is a bit too high, though. My target was 70k or less. If you got him, look to sell in a couple weeks in the ratings refresh hype.
Why don’t you start youtube this would be easier for everyone in my opinion as i find it hard it would be easier to start a youtube channel and you can explain everything there
The website is convenient for me because it allows me to respond and put out content while I’m at work. I wouldn’t be able to make and edit videos while on my shift.
I could, however, have a weekly Twitch stream where I explain upcoming events, investment opportunities, and answer your questions. I could record it so it could be played back and post that on YouTube. Is that something you’d be more interested in?

Hi there, I sold most of my players and bought 79 otw cards for around 30k each two weeks ago in a hope to offload all of them when otw sbc drops. However, a lot of people including you are unsure whether there would be an otw sbc with same requirements as last year. I’m thinking of selling all my otws on Thursday and buy 83’s, do you think that is a good option? I believe I would make around 500-1000k profit on each card buying them at around 2-2.5k, but I’ve no idea if I can still buy more than 500 players on console?
I also wanted to ask your opinion on high rated players and icons. We all know there are times when your players just don’t perform due to “dramatic moments”, but I’ve noticed there are some types of players that are less affected by dynamic slider adjustment. I’m now choosing whether to go for 94 Ronaldinho or gold CR7 bearing in mind the above idea. Do you think icons in general perform better and feel less clumsy than gold and special players?
And a question about seasons, I’ve seen your post about going down in divisions on purpose. I’m currently doing this to get rid of being ripped apart because of ea bs, dropped from div 1 to div 6 already. I’ve noticed that if I just quit the match I’ll be 100% punished in the next couple of matches by having unresponsive and sluggish players. What’s the best way to loose on purpose to drop down in divs?
I always score an own goal to give my opponent the W, then quit immediately after. Personally, I haven’t noticed any “punishment” for doing so, but I know that sentiment is common around the FIFA community.
Doesn’t forfeiting gives you a lower score and less coins in future?
Yes, but the multiplier doesn’t effect your match coins that much. The real money to be made through divisions is through promotion/title rewards, anyway.
I don’t think its a coincidence that the pros all tended to use Icons in Barcelona this past weekend. Gullit, Vieira, Henry, and Ronaldo were the players of choice for most squads. If you have the coins, I think its a good idea to attempt to build teams with those players. They are that expensive for a reason.
You can buy infinite players on console using the glitch. All it requires is you reset your game when you are directed to the “Unassigned Items” screen. See more details on how in this article.
If you don’t feel like buying that many 83s, another option is to target high rated informs for close to discard. I’ve been grabbing some 81/82 IFs for 12k or less. I think it’s likely that EA requires them for the SBCs this weekend.
Regarding buying players , do you think there would be a massive dip when the winter otw are launched?
A massive dip overall? No. I would expect that for Lunar New Year on Friday, Februrary 16th.
I do think the top tier OTW cards (Neymar, Mbappe, Salah) will take a hit with guaranteed OTW packs. If Salah drops enough, he could be a good look as he will get a nice upgrade for the Winter Ratings Refresh event.

EA releases “Ratings Refresh” in mid-February in attempts to better align players in game ratings with how they are playing in real life. This means players can be upgraded if they perform well (e.g. Salah, Kane) or downgraded if they perform poorly (e.g. Bonucci, Benzema)
ImADuckQuack, a writer for FUTBIN, has put together a comprehensive list of players that will be “refreshed” from the 5 major leagues. La Liga Bundesliga/Ligue 1 Premier League/Calcio A
As for investments, I emphasized that I liked Bailey, Milinkovic, and Fekir from TOTW 19 because they are likely to get upgrades. I think their prices have inflated a bit already, though, so I wouldn’t recommend jumping on the train now.
Something you could consider is buying players from TOTW 20 that might be upgraded. I’ll post specific players that I like as investments when EA releases it tomorrow.

I’m a bit skeptical that OTW cards will raise much more than they already have for two reasons. 1. I fear that EA won’t have OTW card requirements for the SBCs. 2. I fear that people have overinvested for this event and a mass selloff will occur Friday when the SBCs drop, thus causing prices to plummet.
My advice would be to sell in the next couple days to prevent yourself from getting burned.

I’d hold off buying him until Lunar New Year. Icon prices are quite inflated, and the influx of packs from that event should make their prices drop quite a bit.

His price has inflated a bit since last week already in anticipation of the Ratings Refresh event in a couple weeks. I do think it should continue to rise, though.
Hi mate I have another question with the probably OTW SBC. I think i will do the 2 sbc, the OTW of the winter and summer.
My 1st question about it it’s, actually i have 4-5 Traore, you would recomend me hold 2 to do the two sbcs? or you recomend me sell and when sbc will be released with overinvest of the other people buy for do it?.
My 2 question it’s about that sbc rewards, for example, in the Summer otw maybe the more smart it’s hold the OTW and wait until the people remove the overstock of this? And for the other (Winter) maybe the more smart it’s sell at the moment for the new hype cards or you recomend me wait like summer too?

I’ll stay consistent with what I’ve said earlier and guess that OTW cards will dip when the SBC drops. That being said, I’d recommend you sell now and pick them back up later.
As for SBC rewards, yes, it is a good idea to hold for a couple weeks rather than sell them immediately. There will be a large supply hitting the market all at once, and their prices will bottom out as a result.

Which kind of cards would you go for?
There’s a lot of talk about La Liga potentially coming out tomorrow. One player I’ve been eyeing is Juanfran, but he has already risen substantially because he is currently in TOTW 20. Another good look would be Athletic Club Bilbao gold RB or LB as there are limited options available.
How much do these cards usually go up when a SBC comes out? Aimed at 4-600 coins for Juanfran and got LB and RB from Athletic Club on the cheap as well.
It all depends on what formation is required for those clubs. If there are only 3 in the back required, then the LB/RB won’t shoot up as much. However, if fullbacks are required for the SBC, then you could see increases comparable to Calcio A defenders from Udinese, Crotone, and Sampdoria earlier in the month because of their limited availability. The biggest thing that might prevent them from rising to those levels would be that silvers are more rare than golds, but I still think they will go up substantially.

Hi Chief, When do we sell our 83/84 today?
Monitor their prices when the SBCs are released. If there is mass selling by investors, you might want to hold of getting rid of them until later this weekend. My target price for selling 83s is 3k, so I’ll offload mine when they hit that mark.
What about 84? 6k?
6k would be a good exit point. You could also try selling half of your investments at 6k and hold the other half while monitoring 84s prices over the weekend. With such a high demand SBC, there is a chance they could rise higher. Selling half and holding half is a good way to spread yourself.
Chief, as the 83s didnt inflated at all, do you think that there is still a chance to earn? Shall I wait with selling them? If you think so, when will the price rise? Any advice? =p
I think their prices will continue to rise as the week goes on. These are some high demand SBCs, and I don’t think the FIFA community will be able to resist continuing to open them until next week Friday. That means 82/83/84 supply will continue to deplete, thus causing a rise in price. In addition, I think a lot of investors are panic selling their investments right now. As they say in the crypto world, HODL.

That’s not a bad shout. It’s a bit risky, but the quick turnaround would make it worth it.

I’d probably sell now. He will continue to go down over the next week with him being packed so much. You could buy him back if you are really set on him as an investment. Otherwise, I’d use your coins to invest in OTW Salah, Aguero POTM, or La Liga SBCs like I recommended previously.

I don’t think Higuain will go much lower than 60k. I think that’s a good price to get him. As for Salah, I’d hold off until after Liverpool’s match against Tottenham tomorrow.
Why should I wait until after liverpools match? How will it work??? If salah play a good match, won’t his otw card price rise then?( just want to understand market =p )
Yes, his price would rise if he scores a goal or two and has a good match. His price will go down if he doesn’t show up to play. I’m banking on the fact that he won’t do much on the stat line tomorrow, but if he scores or gets an assist I’ll be eating my words.

Yeah, unfortunately I’m only a weather man, not a crystal ball. Salah has been stellar all season.
