Q & A Tuesday – Week 26
A weekly thread meant for discussion about anything and everything related to the FUT market. Pose your questions about player prices, investing and trading strategies, or upcoming events. I will answer questions as quickly as I can, but if you can respond before I do, feel free to hop in the conversation!
Also, follow my on Twitter if you don’t already!
What low budget investments do you see for the upcoming month? If the la liga or Prem come out are you investing in anything?
What kind of budget are we talking? You can always invest in Marquee Matchup Predictions week in and week out. When I posted last week’s prediction, Fenerbahce bronze players were 200 coins – now they are up to 700. It’s quick turnaround that you can rely on each week so long as you get in early and sell in the hype.
As for La Liga/Prem League SBCs, no, I don’t plan on investing. However, I do plan on trading with players surrounding the league SBCs when they are released. When J-League came out a month ago, I had a lot of success flipping players. I’ll be sure to communicate with the community about which filters are most profitable when the time comes.
What investment would you do with 300k? Short or long term investment. Though I’d prefer short term… Tnx for reading
You could choose one (or diversify and do all) of the following three:
1. Inform Vazquez for FUT Birthday
2. Inform Sun Yueng for Son POTM
3. Basel v. Young Boys (Derby of Switzerland) for Marquee Matchups in 2 weeks
Of the three, I think Basel v. Young Boys will have the best return on investment. Only problem is it can be a lot of work buying 100+ cards.
The Basel v. Young boys is a “prediction” for week 27 or 28? What cards do you recommend to buy in case of this fixture? Bronze? Silver? Gold? (Have about 90k to invest)
I’ll be posting about it later today, but it is for Week 28 – next week is international break, so I’m not going to bother with posting predictions for those. The cheaper the buy, the better the ROI for Basel v. Young Boys, so target bronzes and silvers and sell in the hype.
Hi mate, I would ask you about your weekly trading rutine, for example, I buy 100k or more in MM but the problem was in Ea disable Buy Now when you have unasigned players and for example I cant snipe OTW/PTG when they scores a goal to sell in the hype, and the Sundays i will mass bid IF and I want to know if you do something more to make more coins during the week. (For example buy in Mondays OTW or something to POTM (Will like to know when or what its the best moment to buy to invest and the “best time” for sell)
And i want to ask to about Korean If, I know he is for posible Son POTM but, if he does a great match the next week do you think its good time to sell if they have more hype?
Thanks for all mate.
EA do disable Buy it Now on the web app when you have unassigned players, but you still can do it on console – only thing is after you BIN you are redirected to your unassigned items and have to restart the game. So technically you can still snipe OTW/PTG players even with unassigned items. For me, I don’t do any trading on my accounts because I’m often locked in on a full transfer list and unassigned pile. Yes, I’m missing out on profit when I can’t flip silvers, but it makes it worth it when I buy 125 Lecomtes and make over a million coins a couple weeks later. That’s my rationale at the moment for both Vazquez and Sun Yueng. There is no magic buy time or sell time. It varies with each player. As for Son, he doesn’t have another league match until April 1st (I still think this will count toward March). This month is odd for PL because many of the Matchday 32 fixtures have been postponed. As long as no one in the 3 fixtures (Liverpool v. Watford, Bournemouth v. West Brom, Stoke City v. Everton) that are taking place this weekend makes themselves… Read more »
Thanks mate, always so clear.
About Sung Yeung, then you will hold it since the week of the POTM (Obv if Son have chance to win it).
I say that becouse I see Yeung in 18k now and I will like understand POTM trading too mate!
Yes, I’ll be holding Sung Yeung for a little while at least. As shown in the article I posted, the Egyptian Fathi rose to 30k+ leading up to the POTM event. As long as Son is the favorite, I expect Sung’s price to act similarly.
Mate another question, I know you said me a few times the expensive players will go down in price progresive, but today, I see it Cr in one of the lowest prices ever 1,485,000 .
Do you recomend me wait more to take it? I said becouse the lowest price in futbin it’s 1,328,000 and that price was in the start of the game. I only ask you becouse I’ll like think like a investor and I priorize the coins to Cr (Becouse i think it’s better make more investments to make more coins and have better team but if for example you know can’t down more I’ll take it becouse Cr it’s my dream).
Thanks mate and sorry becouse i think im a little though.
I think you’ve asked me this a few times now. Just go buy Ronaldo if you want him that badly and have fun with the game.
Yes I know but with the comment want to know if he can broke that 1,328,000 coins becouse I dont wanna buy him and lose a lot of coins in short time. Can you recomend me with your investor mind when could be the best time to grab it?
My idea was buy it at the lowest price as posible and before that make a lot of coins if I can for complete a Dream Team.
Thanks mate and Im a little curious about your team and formations.
When TOTT Knockout Stage is released on either April 13th or 20th.
My team costs less than 200k right now, so I don’t think that will help much. I switch between 4-1-2-1-2 narrow and 4-2-3-1.
Many thanks mate.
Wow ¿only 200k? ¿and it’s easy for you qualify to FUT? And the most important thing, what do you think to do about your coins in the future (speaking about team, what it’s your objective/dream).
Depends what my coin situation is like when TOTS comes, but something with Gullit and Vieira.
Hey chief! I have 50K budget. if Im not gonna invest in MM (cause they are out today), what should I invest in?
Hello Lolniros! Welcome to the tribe. I’ll repeat what I said to Sam a few comments above.
Is there any short-term investment you have in mind?
Thank you so much for your help!
Not really. There is St. Patrick’s Day this weekend, but a lot of those players have already inflated. You are better off mass bidding on silvers from league SBCs and flipping them if you are looking to make coins in the meantime.
Dear Mr. Chief,
I’ve stocked up on IF Vazquez. If FUT Birthday arrives earlier than expected this weekend, might it be a good idea to offload Vazquez over the weekend whilst picking up IF Sun Yueng cards (this is assuming the promotion will cause Vazquez to inflate and Sun Yueng to deflate)? Feel free to correct me if I’ve got the wrong end of the stick.
Regards,
Alex.
If that were the case, yes. However, since EA came out with these packs today, I don’t think we will be seeing FUT Birthday tomorrow – I expected them to be a package deal. FUT Birthday will be either next week or the following week now, in my opinion.
Ah, I see.
Regardless, would you consider FUT birthday the optimum time to get rid of Vazquez? If so, I’ll keep an eye on Sun Yueng to see if he’s still a worthwhile investment by the time FUT Birthday rolls around.
Thanks for your help,
Alex.
The reason I think Vazquez will go up for FUT Birthday is because of the SBCs that went along with it last year. Hopefully we get similar SBCs this year that require high rated squads and a lot of informs. If we do, then yes, that would be the optimum time.
Shortly after I responded to you last time EA Sports FIFA tweeted that they will release more details regarding FUT Birthday tomorrow. Hang tight until then.
Thanks Chief, will do.
