1. You can invest in gold/UCL players of these as they could be going OOP.
2. You can invest in strong links to these players.

An 8.5 rating and a goal from a midfielder is more deserving than a 8.7 rating and 2 assists from an attacker, in my opinion.

So far this year, the best time to sell golds is actually shortly after the announcement rather than holding for the full week.
Also, keep in mind that UCL cards will go OOP, too, and they have far less supply.
