I invested in so many 85s, no way they will stay at 3k
Hopefully, currently the prices seems to be very low, hehe
High rated players will go up eventually, but it will take some time. Moura will be discard before long. I’d expect him to drop even further after this WL.
Hey Chief, in preparation of PL POTM what do you think of investing in high rated PL fodder such as Dias, Rodri, Laporte .. Thiago … ? My thoughts are you can go wrong with 87 and 86 rated players at those prices but wanted your opinion on it.
I invested in Matip. 850 coins and quick sell is 750
I just don’t think the PL POTM will move the market that much. People often overestimate it’s impact. Yes, those players are safe at their prices, but I wouldn’t expect much from them.
Any cards around the 100k range that you think I should look into?
Zakaria is the most expensive option in my Top Buys at the moment. He has risen a bit today already, though.

Sweet! Yeah, definitely sell him before the weekend. He is one that will get pummeled because of his low rating and high pack weight.

They won’t dip as much since they are more meta, but I do think they will see some volatility after this WL.

It’s possible. I do think Lemar has a better case, though.

Yep, think he will rise a bit more leading into the WL and going OOP. Maybe look to sell Wednesday/Thursday before rivals rewards.
Any advice on Fodder investing Chief? Based on the upcoming POTM SBC’s.
If you are investing in fodder, I’d prefer to grab guys that kill 2 birds with 1 stone. TOTW 3 golds will be a decent play in that regard. I will likely have some of my favorite looks tomorrow after it drops.

He might rise a little, but I think he will dip a decent amount after this weekend. I would definitely be selling by Friday.
Packed Kessie and Wan-Bissaka last night. Do you see them rising a little by Thursday, or should I sell now?
Maybe a little, but I don’t know if it is worth risking holding them – market should fall off quickly this weekend.

What impact do you think preview packs are having on the market? Do you think they are causing increased supply and driving prices down?
Yep – that was a major factor that we thought would impact that market going into this FIFA. The 4.6k FIFA points Ultimate Edition users received played a part, too.

The players in my Top Buys are always my favorite investment looks. It currently included TOTW 2, Kostic, and the subscriber investment. Otherwise, the next look will be TOTW 3 golds on Wednesday.

Maybe sell some in the hype, sell some immediately after the release, and hold some – good to diversify that way sometimes.
Hi Chief, you mention that prices will drop this weekend. Why is this and should I sell up all players (including 84+) before then?
Historically speaking prices plummet after the 1st WL. The addition of preview packs and the new rewards schedule will make the dip even more severe, in my opinion. I would be selling before then.

I usually isn’t that far in. I’d expect the market to peak this week.

I would sell in the next couple days. He will dip with WL sell off pretty drastically considering he will be returning to packs.
Hey Chief, will Golds that cost 750-1,000 coins even rise if they get into TOTW 3? Or will they stay at this price because they’re too low priced?
It depends. Most cards that recently went OOP in that price range didn’t fair too well. I wouldn’t expect much from them in TOTW 3.
