30 in 30: Two Birds One Stone

30 in 30 is a series of 30 investing and trading tips, 1 posted each day over the course of September leading up to the FIFA 21 release in October. Below is a list of the tips we have seen already.
- TOTW Investing
- OOP TOTW Golds
- SBC Gems
- Perfect Positions
- Frequent Acronyms
- EA Tax
- ROI Potential
- MM Investing
- High Traffic Times
- Promo Investing
- Icons and WL Rewards
- Quick Sell Values
- Live Cards
- Two Birds One Stone
There are several reasons why a given investment could rise in value (going OOP, being required for an SBC, being linkable with new players, etc). Buying players that check multiple boxes and could go up for a variety of reasons is in an investor’s best interest.
Early in FIFA 20, our Nicolò Barella investment was a good example of this. In his case, he actually killed three birds with one stone as he:
- Went OOP for OTW
- Had a potential UEFA MM requirement on October 1st
- Had a potential MM requirement on October 3rd
Our Virgil Van Dijk investment during TOTSSF also checked multiple boxes:
- Went OOP for PL TOTSSF
- Was linkable with Liverpool TOTSSF players people got in their WL rewards
In FIFA 21, keep an eye out for players that could go OOP and be required for SBCs as these are the most common two birds/one stone investments.
Cheers,
Chief
