Marquee Matchups are released each Thursday at 6pm UK time. It is comprised of 4 SBCs highlighting notable fixtures for the upcoming weekend. EA often requires a player from one or both clubs in order to complete the challenge.

Predicting which games will be featured and buying up their respective club’s cards beforehand can be a very profitable strategy. In the early stages of FIFA 20, Bayern gold cards rocketed to 10k+ because of their limited supply.

The FIFA Analytics website is a useful resource to help anticipate which fixtures will be chosen.

Typically EA only has specific club requirements for the 5 big leagues, whereas the smaller leagues have generic league requirements. Focusing on Bundesliga, Ligue 1, La Liga, Serie A, and Premier League is in your best interest.

The biggest rises occur when EA requires one player from both clubs. If you choose to invest in MM, cross your fingers for a double requirement when the SBCs drop at 6pm.
