30 in 30: EA Tax
30 in 30 is a series of 30 investing and trading tips, 1 posted each day over the course of September leading up to the FIFA 21 release in October. Below is a list of the tips we have seen already.
Every time you sell a player, EA imposes a tax of 5% on the sale. This makes investing and trading more difficult as you need to consider this tax when buying a player.
Here are a few examples to make this more clear:
- If you sell Ronaldo for 1,000,000 coins, you will get 950,000 coins back.
- If you sell Neymar for 500,000 coins, you will get 475,000 coins back.
- If you sell Neuer for 100,000 coins, you will get 95,000 coins back.
You can find a EA tax calculator on this website here.
For those who are fans of frequently changing their squads, this is a big factor in how EA drains your coin balance. Yes, sometimes you’ll be able to flip your card(s) for a profit, but more often than not you are going to lose.
Cheers,
