24 for 24: OTW Golds
24 for 24 is a series of 24 investing/trading highlights from FIFA 23, 1 posted each day over the course of September leading up to the FIFA 24 Ultimate Edition release on September 22nd. Reviewing these will help aspiring FIFA traders learn about the ins and outs of the FUT market and remind veterans of what they already know. Below is a list of the investments we have looked at already.
After accumulating your first 10k or so, you can begin to look at investments. Prices of players explode in the first few days after the web app release. There are a lot of targets to choose from, and some of the best historically speaking are OTW golds (see De Ligt, Haaland, Mane, Jesus, and Dybala from last year).
While we can’t be sure who might make the squad this year, it is safe to say some of the most notable transfers from big leagues and clubs will grab a spot. Declan Rice, Jude Bellingham, Christopher Nkunku, and Hassoum Aouar are a few notables from the top leagues, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see Messi & Benzema from the MLS/Saudi leagues, either.
Monitor the prices of these players in the early stages of the game. Generally speaking, the earlier you can get your hands on them the better. Most of the gains that you’ll see will occur in the hype leading up to OTW golds going out of packs on September 29th, so be prepared to offload then in case your player isn’t featured in the OTW release that day.
