Reasoning for Investment: Buying promo cards when they go out of packs is a useful strategy, particularly for live cards that have upcoming matches. In the case of RTTF Tolisso, it was the perfect storm as Bayern had a match 10 days later that could earn him a double upgrade.

When investing in these live cards, it is almost always the right decision to sell in the hype before the match. Very rarely is the risk worth the reward, and often times even with a favorable result you see prices drop as investors sell off their bags. Similar to real world investing, “buy the rumor, sell the news” are good words to follow.
