24 for 24: Price Ranges
24 for 24 is a series of 24 investing/trading highlights from FIFA 23, 1 posted each day over the course of September leading up to the FIFA 24 Ultimate Edition release on September 22nd. Reviewing these will help aspiring FIFA traders learn about the ins and outs of the FUT market and remind veterans of what they already know. Below is a list of the investments we have looked at already.
EA introduced price ranges several years ago to avoid price fixing and limit the amount of losses for players that list their cards too cheaply. They often get these ranges wrong, though, making a minimum listing price that is too high or a maximum listing price that is too low.
One example of this from the first week of FIFA 23 was Pedri; his max BIN was 10k, far too low for a usable, high rated Barcelona player early on. Those that were able to grab him nearly doubled their coins.
The trick with these investments is to be ready to sell the moment that EA updates their price ranges. This can be time consuming if you are on your own. In our discord, we post updates for these PRs within minutes of them happening to ensure we cash out before mass listing ensues.
Cheers,
