Player Review: Scream Agüero
Welcome back to another review by yours truly. This time we’re looking at Mané’s partner in crime of the past week: Sergio Agüero Scream. Where “Maaaaaaaanéééééééééééé” was stuck in my head for hours and driving me mad eventually. The crowds chanting: “SERGIO SERGIO SERGIO” was something that I can keep listening to for days. The Premier League top overseas’ goal scorer of all time is both in game as in real life an absolute legend.
He played along side Mané in my usual 352 and 532 and I chose him, because I wanted a striker good enough to shine alongside Mané without stealing his thunder. This last part turned out not to be the case all the time. Where he was crazy good most of the time, he could be absolutely fenomenal out of the blue. The highlight of this were his 5 goals in one match.

Shooting & Passing
Yeah this was fun, having Mané and Agüero up top together. Mané’s finishing was perfect and Agüero’s was almost perfect. You’d expect the difference between them to be a bit bigger perhaps, but Agüero came close. His positioning was his best feature, he was always in the right spot to finish it. I really enjoyed low driven shots with him, which I find this FIFA not as useful as the last, but with Agüero they really came off. I must say his 4* WF felt like a 4* WF and I had some troubles with it, but not too much that it annoyed me. His passing was what annoyed me the most last time I used him, but this time not so much. I guess Maestro made the difference. I wouldn’t use him as a CAM, but he is more than able to help in the build up.
- Shooting: 9.5/10
- Passing: 7.2/10
Pace & Dribbling
His acceleration feels quite higher, while his sprintspeed felt lower at times, than their stats suggest. He was able to get in behind enough though, and wasn’t easily caught up with. I had no complaints, but wasn’t overly impressed either. His dribbling was awesome though, boosted by Maestro he was amazing in the tight spaces and managed to get in and out of some situations where I was like: “What just happened”? His fake shot was my favorite move with him as he executes it so well. He’s not up there with Messi, but who is?
- Pace: 8.2/10
- Dribbling: 9.3/10
Physical and Defending
He has more strength than Mané, but somehow the Liverpudlian felt stronger. This doesn’t mean Agüero is weak. On the contrary, he was really strong on the ball and was hard to push out of the way. His physical was an excellent addition to the pace and dribbling and made for a deadly combinantion. His 89 jumping meant he even won me some aerial duels eventhough he is not what you’d call tall.
- Physical: 8.5/10
- Defending: N/A
I have had so much fun with him, he almost deserves an extra 0.1 just because of the: “SERGIO SERGIO SERGIO” chants. He is the perfect link between the Premier League and LaLiga due to his buddy Messi. I am sure I’ll put both the Argentinians up top sometime in the future. He is really a top tier striker and he’ll last for a long time.
Value for coins:
In his price range you find all the Del Piero’s who I think could be his competition, but the other options don’t look that much better in my opinion. So if you’re looking for a top tier striker and have well over a million to spend. I say give the Citizen a chance, you won’t regret it.
