Player Review: Headliner Lewandowski
Hey folks,
Better late than never, right? You voted and I deliver once again with this review about Headliners Lewandowski. I used his gold card at the start of the game and was very impressed, and I always promised myself I’d use one of his later, guaranteed, special cards. When his headliner came out I knew the time had come and I started designing a team around him. I filled it with a bunch of players who I reckon people want to see a review about. I’ve already posted about Sané and there are many more to come.
Review
Lewandowski’s gold card was already insanely good in front of goal and (spoiler alert) so is his Headliner. This has to be one of the most clinical cards I have used this FIFA. Combine this with his other stats and you have one of the best cards in the game. Some say he was robbed of a TOTY, but this card will be near TOTY level after a few upgrades.

Shooting & Passing
As I mentioned, this card’s shooting is phenomenal. It’s an absolute joy knowing that you only need an inch of space to release an almost unstoppable shot. It doesn’t matter if it’s left or right – just take the shot and watch it fly in. I didn’t even boost his shooting and it was still on such an incredible level – I can only imagine what he’ll be capable of when you do apply a shooting boost. He always was in the right place for a tap in due to his elite base Positioning of 98. I really like my ST’s to be able to partake in the build up, and Lewa is definitely able to do just that. His base Passing stats are already really good, but with the Engine chem they get even better. As he is a 94 CAM with this chemistry applied, I even considered playing him as one of my CAM’s in 4222.
- Shooting: 9.9/10
- Passing: 8.6/10
Pace & Dribbling
While he only needs an inch of space to shoot, the biggest problem I had with him was the fact that he wasn’t that good in creating that inch of space himself. He lacked the pace to get completely away from defenders and he isn’t that good of a dribbler that can easily outplay defenders to take the shot. He isn’t a slowpoke and he doesn’t turn like a dumptruck, but he just lacks a bit in these key areas (for me). This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t get him – it just means that you shouldn’t expect a fast and technical card like that of Neymar. If you use him as your target man you’ll get the absolute best out of him.
- Pace: 8.2/10
- Dribbling: 8.3/10
Physical and Defending
Lewandowski’s base card already felt really strong for me, but his Headliner takes it to the next level. The difference is only 5 points, but the Headliner feels so unbelievably strong. I didn’t shy away from going shoulder to shoulder with defenders and I wasn’t afraid to pass him the ball when he had VVD breathing down his neck. He also has excellent Jumping and great Heading Accuracy which resulted in the most headers anyone has scored for me this FIFA.
- Physical: 9.4/10
- Defending: N/A
Rating: 9.2/10
I loved using this card, but I don’t think I’ll use him again anytime soon, mainly because I don’t like the Bundesliga and the options they offer. It’s getting better as the game progresses with cards like Future Star Kabak and Moments Davies, but it still doesn’t appeal to me that much. That being said, this is one of the best strikers I used this FIFA and I 100% recommend any Bayern/Bundesliga fan to try him out.
Value for coins:
He is around 1m now and I really think he’s worth it, especially since he is guaranteed to get a few upgrades which will make him even more lethal. There are a lot of really good options in his price range, though. I can imagine picking one is difficult if you’re looking for a striker for your team, but he should be a strong contender.
Thanks (again) for reading and please let me know if he’ll make your team,

Do I keep him?
If he fits your team and you like him I’d keep him!
